Hendrix College Description:

Hendrix College has been making a name for itself in recent years -- it appears in Loren Pope's 40 Colleges That Change Lives, it was awarded a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa in 1998, and it frequently appears in the top tier of liberal arts colleges in U.S. News and World Report rankings. Located in the small town of Conway, Arkansas, Hendrix College's red brick buildings sit on 160 flower-filled acres. Hendrix wins high marks for both its value and its progressive academic climate in which active learning and international engagement are emphasized. The school's athletic teams participate in the NCAA Division III Southern Athletic Association. Popular sports include football, basketball, soccer, swimming, track and field, and field hockey.
